The Seven Best (Or, Somewhat Memorable) Moments Of The Jay Leno Show
The real most memorable moment of The Jay Leno Show? When the host had the tables turned and Leno got absolutely roasted by Jimmy Kimmel. After 95 episodes, this will undoubtedly go down as the most memorable segment ever on the show, and that’s saying something. It capped off a couple weeks of semi-memorable monologue jokes aimed at NBC and Letterman and awkwardly coy hints at the inner turmoil of NBC late night (one more video of how it all started to go downhill below). Whether you want to blame Leno or NBC for this 10pm failed experiment, the results show a Tonight Show-like program, maybe without the punch of Leno’s Tonight Show, and some moments that will quickly be forgotten. Unlike Leno! When he returns March 1, expect huge ratings and probably an extensive, high-profile guest list. It will be like TJLS (that’s the abbreviation they sometimes used) never really existed.
