‘Will Hillary Clinton Get Prosecuted?’ Google Data Reveals Biggest Questions Following Debate
Even though Hillary Clinton did not come under scrutiny for her use of a private email server at last night’s democratic debate, the recent activity of Google searchers indicate that the controversy continues to dog her campaign.
Not only does the Google trends data suggest that more of last night’s online activity was directed towards Bernie Sanders, but two of the top five questions asked about Clinton were “will Hillary Clinton get prosecuted?” and “what did Hillary Clinton do that is illegal?”

Both questions were quite possibly linked to Clinton’s use of a private, nonsecure email account during her time as Secretary of State. Clinton has been attacked by opponents and subject to investigations over whether she compromised classified information, and the FBI recently expanded its examination into the matter.
As for the online search activity for Clinton’s competition — Senator Sanders and former governor Martin O’Malley — each received different sorts of questions with their searches.
