In anticipation of the “late spring” debut of his Current TV show, Keith Olbermann has been keeping limber by posting web-only video versions of his “Worst Persons” segments from time to time. Monday’s entry featured an odd bit of commentary in the “silver” spot, as Olbermann seemed to argue that Fox News is the very finest example of opinion journalism.

Keith Olbermann, the ex-MNSBC host who’s headed to Current TV as boss of all things, says his FOK News Channel website will go live tonight–most likely. In a tweet to followers of @FOKNewsChannel on Twitter, Olbermann wrote, “Bulletin: FOKNewsChannel site, humble and presumably bug-ridden though it may be, goes live tonight. Puhhhhhhrobably.”

Fox News’ Neil Cavuto delivered a swift tongue-lashing recently to MSNBC’s Chris Matthews for his concerns about New Jersey governor Chris Christie‘s weight, calling any concern or mockery about the matter “racism with a scale.” Tonight, Keith Olbermann refused to refute the claim that weight prejudice was “racism with a scale,” though he heaped some dirt on Cavuto’s credibility on the matter, digging up an old clip of the latter promoting just that.

There’s something about Andrew Breitbart that brings out the some of the worst in Keith Olbermann. Namely, there’s something about a mainstream news organization taking Breitbart seriously, that really pushes his buttons. Last night, ABC News won Olbermann’s “Worst Persons” bronze for bringing Breitbart on as an Election Day contributor, and was so insulted as to bring out the mother of all insults, a fart joke.

Dr. Laura‘s now-infamous racist rant has launched a massive wave of criticism her way for her use of the n-word and advice to her caller that she should not “marry out of her race.” Surprisingly, Keith Olbermann didn’t seem to take too much offense to those remarks, because, according to his “Worst Persons” segment on Countdown last night, there was something much more insidious in her commentary, and much more indicative of racism.

Returning champ Rush Limbaugh clinched last night’s “Worst Persons” trophy on Countdown, but while Limbaugh had received the dubious award many times in the past while only enduring the requisite ridicule, he offended Keith Olbermann so much last night that he prayed to Oprah Winfrey to descend from the heavens and smite “this schmuck” for his comments.

Rabbi David Nesenoff is now famous for two things: recording the anti-Israeli rant that ended White House columnist Helen Thomas‘ career, and starring in a strange viral video where he made some ethnic jokes while giving the weather. It’s for the latter claim to fame that Nesenoff landed the silver in today’s Countdown “Worst Persons in the World” anti-contest, because while prompting Thomas’ retirement, Nesenoff didn’t “exactly have clean hands.”

Immediately after thoroughly dressing down CNN’s Campbell Brown on last night’s Countdown, Keith Olbermann set his sights on popular Worst Persons fixture Glenn Beck, and he couldn’t have asked for an easier layup. Beck committed his umteen-zillionth violation of Godwin’s Law, this time aiming his Nazi comparison at a particularly poorly-chosen target. Olbermann executes the takedown perfectly, but blows it on the dismount with a petty, snarky reference to Beck’s struggles with alcoholism.

On Monday night’s “Countdown,” Keith Olbermann granted the Worst Persons gold to a quartet of conservative figures for jumping the gun when tweeting about White House visitors on Friday.
