Glambert, J-Lo And The AMA Moments You’ll Be Talking About At The Water Cooler
The American Music Awards crowned Taylor Swift Artist of the Year over Michael Jackson (where was Kanye West for this one?) but these awards shows are never really about the awards.
Instead, they’ll be about Adam Lambert’s hip thrusts, J-Lo’s fall and a near nip-slip. Let’s take a look at the AMA moments you’ll be talking about today.
Adam Lambert simulates some oral sex with both a male and female back-up dancer. ABC decided to cut away from the performance to an awkward audience shot during the male-thrusting:
Jennifer Lopez performed her new song “Louboutins.” Right before her big dance break, she takes a spill jumping off a back-up dancer. The key part was after the performance when they cut to Lopez getting angry in a backstage look-in:
Kate Hudson had either a near nipple slip or an actual nipple slip that ABC blurred out. Either way, it was close, and when she adjusted her dress, the audience laughed in acknowledgment:

Adam Lambert’s performance was sickening..J Lo is too old to be doing whatever she was trying to do…Whitney Houston showed what Class is..i admire her so much, she was just beautiful !
Kelly Clarkson as usual, sings effortlessly. So much talent, just awesome !! One of the only singers I would pay to see.
Didn’t watch the show, didn’t watch the clip, but I did see a report on Drudge that said ABC has received 1500+ complaints over his performance.

Glenn Beck Confirms That Your Rights Come From God

Last night we pointed out that Glenn Beck appeared to have a rather loose grip on the role of Congress when it came to the nation's unalienable rights. Tonight, Beck noted the hammering he had taken for his remarks and then took a moment to, um, clarify?
Did Shep Smith Just Advocate The Changing Of Our Drug Laws?
Whenever the debate over Fox News' opinion versus news shows comes up, Shepard Smith is universally accepted as the paragon of capital-J Journalism at the cable news network. And we readily accept that -- we are big fans of Smith's homespun common sense and candid news delivery. So it was somewhat surprising to hear the Fox Newser make what seemed to be a potentially controversial remark about current drug laws when reporting a story about Mexican drug wars. Maybe Shep should have his own opinion show. I know I'd watch.
