I dated a girl in college (for conservatives here, that’s a place you go after high school to continue your education) and she used to hit, punch, and throw very large and heavy objects at me when we’d get into a fight.  She came from a small town and apparently it was commonplace for couples to act in this manner.    The only thing I could do is defend myself by pinning her down or against the wall, but of course, to them, that equates to hitting them, which they run and tell everybody you did.   It was a no win situation.   Great sex, though.  The crazy ones are always good in bed.

Black people have legitimate concerns when it comes to the American judicial system. We are no fans of it because it is most definitely the fan of us. We are not necessarily more “pro-defense” than White jurors either. There are various racial dynamics that make up our society and it’s justice system. For instance, an all-White jury is more likely to convict a defendant of color than one that is mixed. That’s just a fact. That’s also why some states actually have lawas barring juries made up of entirely of people from only one ethnic group. Now on to Sherri’s comment…

She was right to defend Chris Brown, and she wasn’t even so passionate about it. But the man does deserve a second chance. I also find it a bit hypocritical for you to say “I’m all for second chances,” yet you take issue when someone affords one to Chris Brown. Forgiveness is often easier said than done, as you seem to be demonstrating.

I am sure when she is able to watch a replay of her comment she is going to claim insanity. That was idiotic.
