Watch The 30 Rock Christmas Montage Featuring Two Cross-Dressing “Black Swans”

It is nearly impossible to set-up the following clip from 30 Rock for the unitiated, but long story short, the NBC single-camera comedy show ended with the strangest Christmas montage of all time, with Oh Holy Night being sung by a cross-dressed Will Forte appearing as Natalie Portman from the movie Black Swan, and Jane Krakowski dressed as NFL Football legend Lynn Swann — complete with black face (!) Yes, two cross-dressing “black swans!”

Some background? Krakoski plays the part of Jenna Maroney, the self-centered actress and star of the fictional SNL knock-off “TGS” on which 30 Rock is based. In this most recent episode, she is lamenting the break-up with her boy friend Paul (played by Forte) who just so happens to star in his own drag show in which he impersonates herself. Yes, she is effectively dating herself.

With me so far? Good, because it’s not the break-up that upsets her, its that now they they are broken up, she and her former paramour cannot attend the biggest end of the year event: “New Queers Eve.” That is, as you can see in the following clip, until they both, simultaneously, come up with the same cross-dressing idea for the event. Without question, its the most unique Christmas miracle ever portrayed on network television!

Fact: Wrote by liberals for liberals. Liberals always have a character with mental defects in it so it appears to be real life stuff!

Jane and Will performing “O Holy Night” as two black swans in the season 5 Christmas episode was just spectacular. The harmony is so provocative and their voices blend beautifully together. Thanks for such a special treat. How about an album from the two of the them?
