A man who was caught on camera this week throwing a “sub-style sandwich” at a federal agent has been charged with assault.

Sean Charles Dunn was arrested and charged with assault following a viral incident that was caught on camera and posted to social media.

In the video posted by Instagram user “bigap4l,” Dunn could be seen shouting at a group of federal agents. According to the complaint, Dunn shouted, “F*** you! You f***ing fascists! Why are you here? I don’t want you in my city!”

Dunn could then be seen throwing a “sub-style sandwich” at Customs and Border Protection agent Gregory Lairmore, striking him in the chest, before attempting to flee the scene on foot. Dunn was quickly apprehended and arrested.

According to the complaint, Dunn confessed to a police officer after being arrested, declaring, “I did it. I threw a sandwich.”

In a video posted to social media, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro told the suspect to stick his “Subway sandwich somewhere else.”

“President Trump has vowed to make D.C. safe and beautiful again, and as part of his effort to fight crimes, [he has been] bringing in our federal law enforcement partners like FBI, ATF, DEA,” said Pirro in the video. “And the president’s message to the criminals was: if you spit, we hit. Well, we didn’t quite do that the other night when an individual went up to one of the federal law enforcement officers and started jumping up and down, screaming at him, berating him, yelling at him, and then he took a Subway sandwich about this big and took it and threw it at the officer.”

She continued, “He thought it was funny. Well, he doesn’t think it’s funny today because we charged him with a felony – assault on a police officer – and we’re gonna back the police to the hills. So there! Stick your Subway sandwich somewhere else!”
