Elon Musk Calls the Left ‘The Party of Murder’ After Charlie Kirk Shooting

Elon Musk condemned Democrats and leftists on Wednesday, soon after star conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was shot at an event in Utah, saying “The left is the party of murder.”

Musk shared his comment in a brief X post. A few minutes later, Musk added: “The shot looked real bad, but I sure hope Charlie makes it out somehow.”

The Tesla CEO’s posts come after stomach-turning clips of Kirk being shot in the neck quickly circulated on X, with some of the unsettling videos capturing blood gushing from Kirk’s neck. The 31-year-old commentator was hosting an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah when the single shot him him, sending crowd members scrambling for safety.

Musk and Kirk have interacted a fair amount on X, with Musk sharing or responding to dozens of the influencer’s posts this year.

Musk’s post also comes after he has been livid this week over the savage murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutksa aboard a North Carolina train. Surveillance footage of that fatal stabbing has also been circulating on X, and Musk has made a number of posts where he makes it clear he holds Democrats and their approach to crime responsible for the slaying.

He also shared a post in which Stephen Miller, President Donald Trump’s deputy chief of staff, blasted “Democrat policies of catch and release for barbarians and savages,” which Miller said are an “act of terror” against American citizens.

Musk notably threw his support behind President Trump and his 2024 campaign after the assassination attempt against the president in Butler, PA. last year.
