Gwyneth Paltrow has pledged to show off her sexy side in her new film opposite Timothée Chalamet, revealing that she and her much-younger co-star told an intimacy coordinator to “step back” while they got down and dirty in their new film.

“I mean, we have a lot of sex in this movie,” Paltrow told Vanity Fair in its April cover story. “There’s a lot — a lot.”

So much, in fact, that she and her co-star waved off their “Me Too”-era intimacy coordinator.

“There’s now something called an intimacy coordinator, which I did not know existed,” the Oscar winner told the magazine.

“We said, ‘I think we’re good. You can step a little bit back. I don’t know how it is for kids who are starting out, but… if someone is like, ‘Okay, and then he’s going to put his hand here,’ I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that.”

Marty Supreme is set in the 1950s and stars Chalamet as ping-pong prodigy Marty Mauser, who starts a lurid affair with the wife of a rival, played by Paltrow. The film is directed by Josh Safdie, of Uncut Gems fame.

Paltrow was among numerous Hollywood actresses to come forward in light of sexual harassment claims against now-disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein at the height of the “Me Too” movement that rattled Tinseltown.

In a 2017 interview, she told The New York Times that during a meeting preceding the 1996 film Emma, he propositioned that they go to his hotel room for massages.

“Petrified,” she reportedly told her then-boyfriend, Brad Pitt, who confronted Weinstein. She told the paper that he cautioned her never to speak about the encounter again.
