Justin Timberlake Says he ‘Absolutely’ Would Collaborate With Britney Spears

So, this needs to happen pretty much immediately.

Recently, Britney Spears did a Q&A on Most Requested Live with Romeo. When asked who her dream collaborator would be, she said, “Justin Timberlake is very good,” which set our hearts aflutter. The two of them dated from 1999-2001, and despite the 15 years, three marriages, and three children between them, we admit we’re not entirely over it.

This week, Timberlake did an interview with E! News, and when asked what he thought, he said “Sure! Absolutely, absolutely… I have a 17-month old so I don’t get the headline news. I apologize for not being in the know…I’m accessible, give us a call!”

We feel this is as good a time as any to remind you all of their epic collaboration at the 1999 VMAs.

If their hypothetical future song together is anything like this, it’s going to be one for the ages.

Less talking, more singing. What are you two waiting for? We all need this.
