South Park responded to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s displeasure with her depiction on the cartoon by dropping a bonus clip of her committing a puppy massacre.
On the latest episode of South Park, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone depicted Noem as a bloodthirsty puppy killer with a melting face needing constant attention who eventually leads an ICE raid in Heaven.
The episode also took sharp digs at President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, and it followed a season opener that managed to get a response from the White House after depicting the president as having a micropenis and being in a relationship with Satan.
The show dropped a bonus clip on social media this week following Noem attacking the show as “lazy.”
“Didn’t see this on TV? Here’s the Paramount+ version of the end credits scene,” an X post from South Park’s account reads.
The clip included shows Noem entering a pet store where she goes on a rampage, shooting puppies for the more than 20 seconds. The scene ends with a puppy nearly escaping by making it out of the store, but Noem catches it and shoots it multiple times. In the episode, Noem is shown shooting a number of puppies, including one in Heaven.
Noem infamously described killing a puppy she felt was untrainable in her book, No Going Back. The tale earned mockery and condemnation from both the left and right.
In an interview with Glenn Beck, Noem blasted South Park as “lazy,” but also admitted she hadn’t seen the episode in question. Noem blasted the show for mocking her appearance. In the episode, Noem is shown as needing assistants to constantly reattach her melting face.
“I just think it’s — yeah, it never ends. But it’s so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look. Only the liberals and the extremists do that,” she said. “If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t, they just pick something petty like that.”
