WATCH: Man Hurls Antisemitic Insult at Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy During Pizza Review — and Crowd Responds

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy confronted a man who hurled an antisemitic comment at him while Portnoy was filming a pizza review in Mississippi.

Portnoy was filming one of his signature “One Bite” pizza reviews for Barstool Sports this week when a man interrupted him and yelled, “Hey, f**k the Jews! F**k you, Dave Portnoy!” As he yelled the comment, what sounded like loose change hit the ground near where Portnoy was standing.

Portnoy, who is Jewish, films his pizza reviews in public outside the restaurants he’s reviewing, often drawing crowds. Portnoy scores slices of cheese pizza around the country 0-10, often joking his number one rule is only taking “one bite” while he continuously takes bites.

When Portnoy faced the antisemitic insult this week, he was in Starkville, Mississippi at what appeared to be Boardtown Pizza.

“Get out of here!” one person in the crowd told the antisemitic heckler in the video captured of Portnoy’s review.

“Not cool!” a woman responded.

“Why don’t you come in the camera, buddy?! Why don’t you come here?” Portnoy said as the man behind the comment began walking away. After gesturing for him to get closer, Portnoy followed the man and they had an exchange not caught on camera.

The crowd grew more frustrated with the heckler as Portnoy spoke to him.

“That was awful,” one woman said.

“F**k you! F**k you, pussy!” another man said.

This is not the first time Portnoy has faced antisemitic comments while filming his pizza reviews. In June, Portnoy was hit with another antisemitic heckler during a review in Toronto.

“F**k the Jews!” that person yelled at Portnoy.

Portnoy then scolded someone in the crowd around him for laughing at the comment.

“What are you guys **king laughing about?” he said, adding, “what is that Toronto hospitality there?”
