‘IGNORANT!’ Trump Fan Jumps Up And Screams At CNN’s Elle Reeve — Walks Out Of Trump Country Restaurant

An irate Trump fan named David Herrin jumped up and screamed at CNN correspondent Elle Reeve before walking out of a group interview at a Trump country diner.

Reeve — who specializes in deep dives on the nooks and crannies of politics and Trump culture — took viewers back to the Gold House restaurant in Nahunta, Georgia, where she met Trump fans in October as the presidential election loomed.

The new package caught her up with the folks she spoke to before President Donald Trump’s election victory, including a Trump skeptic named Corbet Wilson.

But in one stunning exchange, Herrin stood up over Reeve and screamed at her, accusing her of “Ignorant arguments” and of being “a Democrat” before storming out of the restaurant.

Reeve’s crime? Saying Musk smoked pot — which he did live on video:

ELLE REEVE: Groceries. Egg prices haven’t gone down since Trump took office.

DAVID HERRIN: Give him a little bit of time. Will you come back in a year or two years? Let’s look at the halfway point, because we all know everything takes back.

CORBET WILSON: Well he promised it on the first day. He promises to show anybody that believed that’s crazy.

DAVID HERRIN: He also said, and it would probably be a little more painful to start with, but it would get better. We got to get (CROSSTALK).

CORBET WILSON: Well, you’re talking about contractors, Elon’s a contractor too. Who looks into him?

DAVID HERRIN: There needs to be somebody–

CORBET WILSON: Nobody questions his bills.

ELLE REEVE: Do you trust Elon Musk? He’s a government contractor. He’s got business interests, whether in defense, internet, that kind of thing.

He’s also admitted to drug use. He smoked pot on the Joe Rogan Show. Do you trust him as like, a stable, rational and reasonable person to be doing this job?

DAVID HERRIN: Yes.

CORBET WILSON: I mean, he’s a Republican. You ain’t going to help him out of that.

DAVID HERRIN: There’s potheads all over this country. Y’all sitting here trying to back that up in pursuit of this country, Republican or Democrat, whoever this whole dadgum tail smokes. But you’re part of the Democrat Party in my book–.

ELLE REEVE: No I’m not!

ELLE REEVE (VOICEOVER): The conversation devolved quickly. We had not anticipated the emotional connection we already felt with Max Mosley.

DAVID HERRIN: This is over with. (STANDS UP)

ELLE REEVE: He did it on TV.

DAVID HERRIN: He said on TV he smoked pot.

ELLE REEVE: Yes! Do you want me to pull up the video of it?

DAVID HERRIN: I don’t care! I’m saying it don’t matter, that that makes him unqualified to do a job.

ELLE REEVE: I’m just saying, does it–?

DAVID HERRIN: She’s coming in here with ignorant arguments! She ain’t talking facts!

ELLE REEVE: Does it raise any questions–.

DAVID HERRIN: I can prove you a Democrat by the level of ignorance you portray!

ELLE REEVE: Let’s show it!

DAVID HERRIN: Donald Trump and Elon Musk please drain the swampl. While you there get the job done, please.

CORBET WILSON: They’ll probably go down the drain with it.
