JUST IN: JPMorgan Says Jamie Dimon Did Not Endorse Donald Trump, Despite Former President’s Claim

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has not endorsed a candidate for president this year, despite Donald Trump’s claim that he has the support of the executive.
On Friday, rumors began to circulate online that Dimon had endorsed Trump. The former president himself even promoted it on Truth Social.
But a spokeswoman for JPMorgan Chase told Mediaite that those rumors are not accurate and Dimon has not made an endorsement in the race.
In an interview late last month, Dimon said “I’m not endorsing anyone at this time. I spend more of my time on policy. What’s the policy we need that can really help both the world, foreign policy, and domestically?”
Last fall, it was reported that Dimon was backing Trump’s GOP primary rival, Nikki Haley, and attempting to get other business leaders to do the same.
On X, the fake news about Dimon’s endorsement of Trump is spreading rapidly.
This summer, Trump said he considers Dimon a candidate to be Treasury Secretary if he retakes the White House, but then backtracked on Truth Social, writing, “I don’t know who said it, or where it came from, perhaps the Radical Left, but I never discussed, or thought of, Jamie Dimon or Larry Fink for Secretary of the Treasury.
