‘Shut the F*ck Up’: Fetterman Trashes James Carville For Warning of Biden Loss in ’24

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) doesn’t want to hear from Democrats who fear President Joe Biden could lose the 2024 election.

In an interview with Politico published Wednesday, the Pennsylvania senator trashed veteran Democratic strategist James Carville for sounding the alarm about Biden’s 2024 prospects.

“I’ll use this [as] another opportunity to tell James Carville to shut the fuck up,” Fetterman said. He added, “My man hasn’t been relevant since grunge was a thing. And I don’t know why he believes it’s helpful to say these kinds of things about an incredibly difficult circumstance with an incredibly strong and decent and excellent president.”

For months, Carville has warned Democrats that Biden could lose next autumn. In a Dec. 13 interview with CNN, Carville said he was “very pessimistic” about Biden’s chances.

“It sounds to me like you think if the election were held today, Biden would lose,” CNN’s Kasie Hunt said to Carville.

“Me and everybody else,” Carville replied.

Asked by Politico to respond to Fetterman, Carville took umbrage with the notion that he is not relevant — noting that two Senate Democrats running for reelection have asked for his help in their races. He also said he’s “glad [Fetterman is] feeling better.”
