‘Stick Your Subway Sandwich!’ Jeanine Pirro Comes Down Hard on Hoagie Hucking Bro
U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro is talking tough about the man shown on video hucking a hoagie at a U.S. border agent in Washington, D.C.
FBI Director Kash Patel posted the video of the man to his X account on Thursday, announcing that the FBI has arrested the suspect and charged him with felony assault on a federal officer.
MSNBC reported on the viral moment with Courtney Kube, senior national security correspondent, saying, “On the surface, it may not seem like a big deal, but that is a very serious charge that this man is now facing.”
“He was screaming — according to the criminal complaint — he was screaming obscenities at officers, including the CBP agent, calling him a fascist as well as other F-words, frankly,” Kube told Ana Cabrera Reports. “And then he he proceeded then, according to the complaint, to throw his sub-style sandwich at the CBP agent’s chest. He was taken into custody, he was charged with felony assault. And we heard quickly again on social media from the U.S. Attorney — and former Fox News star — for D.C., Jeanine Pirro.”
Pirro recorded herself in her federal office saying in a taunting voice:
He thought it was funny. Well, he doesn’t think it’s funny today because we charged him with a felony assault on a police officer, and we’re going to back the police to the hilt. So, there — stick your subway sandwich somewhere else.
“So pretty tough language there,” Kube continued, adding that the incident “occurred Sunday night, but it really only started to gain steam and attention when the video of the incident went on social media.”
Attorney General Pam Bondi got in on the action with her own post to X, writing,
If you touch any law enforcement officer, we will come after you. I just learned that this defendant worked at the Department of Justice — NO LONGER. Not only is he FIRED, he has been charged with a felony. This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ. You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement.
