White House aide Natalie Harp flooded social media with 150+ posts on Jan. 6, 2021 showing what CNN characterized as “extraordinary devotion” to President Donald Trump.
According to a report from CNN, Harp’s now-removed account on X (formerly known as Twitter) featured a stream of wildly pro-Trump dispatches on Jan. 6 in which she “echoed the president’s talking points that the election was stolen.”
“FIGHT FOR TRUMP!” Harp wrote 12 times in one post. She added, “Today, DC is TRUMP COUNTRY!”
According to CNN’s Isabelle Chapman and Andrew Kaczynski, “Harp, then 29, praised pro-Trump demonstrators gathering for Trump’s speech as ‘patriots’ and challenged lawmakers to show ‘a fraction of the courage & passion’ of the crowd, declaring: ‘today we STOP THE STEAL!'”
And during Trump’s speech that day, Harp posted, “We will never give up. We will never concede!”
Harp’s beliefs about the 2020 election were on display in a September 2021 interview with then-congressional candidate Karoline Leavitt — which was unearthed in recent days. Harp, then a host for far-right network OAN, falsely claimed that Trump actually won the 2020 election in New Hampshire, despite trailing Joe Biden by 7.4 percent.
“President Trump should have won it,” Harp said. “He did win it.”
The now-removed social media account was littered with similar posts.
“WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU! x 71 million,” Harp wrote, days after the 2020 election results. She added, in a Dec. 14, 2020 post, “THIS IS A COUP.”
