President Donald Trump bragged about his administration’s various beautification efforts in a string of Truth Social posts Tuesday.
The first post listed off multiple initiatives taken to make Washington, D.C. “safe & beautiful.” The list included “2,300 lights fixed,” “1,460 benches rehabbed/installed,” and “500+ instances of graffiti cleaned,” among other things.

Moments later, Trump sent another Truth boasting about the work being done at the White House. He said:
The Restoration of the Thomas Jefferson Columns at the White House — The work turned out beautifully! President DONALD J. TRUMP
Included in the post was a pair of photos showing the restoration of the columns.

Since returning to the White House in January, Trump has set numerous renovation projects in motion. The first major project was a complete redesign of the White House Rose Garden, which had its lawn almost entirely replaced by a stone patio. Trump argued the lawn was inconvenient during unfavorable whether, making press conferences more difficult to hold.
The largest project, however, has been the much-discussed White House Ballroom. To make room for the massive structure — set to dwarf the rest of the White House — Trump had entire East Wing demolished. Complicating matters even more were the legal hurdles to get the project formally approved, slowing progress to a crawl.
At the time of writing, Trump’s various White House renovations cost nearly $1 billion.
