Trump Fans Accused Fox News Of Giving Questions In Advance — To Kamala Harris

Prominent Trump supporters accused Fox News of giving questions to a presidential candidate in advance earlier this year — but the candidate was Vice President Kamala Harris and the charge was false.

Hadas Gold of CNN was first to report on the bombshell revelation this week that President-elect Donald Trump was given town hall questions in advance based on excerpts from a new book by Politico’s Alex Isenstadt, entitled Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power.

An unnamed Fox News employee reportedly leaked the questions to Trump’s team in advance of an Iowa town hall to be moderated by Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum — neither of whom are implicated in the incident.

In a deeper irony, Baier fended off accusations from Trump fans who made a raft of claims ahead of Baier’s exclusive interview with the VP — even assuring one of them “No one has the questions. Except me. Thanks.”

When Baier announced the interview, Trump super-fan Catturd remarked “Softball questions and no follow up incoming.”

A spokesperson for Fox responded to the new allegations in Isenstadt’s book with the following statement:

While we do not have any evidence of this occurring, and Alex Isenstadt has conveniently refused to release the images for fact checking, we take these matters very seriously and plan to investigate should there prove to be a breach within the network.

In another similar case, then-CNN contributor Donna Brazile was dropped from the network after it was revealed she leaked debate questions to Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2016.
