Trump Rages at Jeanine Pirro and Demands She Prosecute Client of ‘DERANGED SLEAZEBAG’ Lawyer Again

President Donald Trump piled pressure on Jeanine Pirro, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, urging her to revisit her decision to drop charges over alleged vandalism at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool while attacking the defendant’s legal team and political ties.

Earlier this week, Pirro’s office moved to dismiss vandalism charges against former Olympic canoeist David Hearn and three others in a court filing that concluded the damage to the reflecting pool stemmed from a “botched” renovation rather than vandalism.

On Friday, however, the president took to Truth Social, where he posted a screengrab of a tweet by freelance photographer Andrew Leyden.

Leyden had posted images of the Reflecting Pool lining, reporting that “cuts in the expansion joints” were “visible” for the first time after the National Park Service (NPS) removed fencing from around the recently renovated reflecting pool.

Trump seized on the images as fresh evidence of “pure VANDALISM” in a post suggesting Pirro re-open her “hastily made decision” to drop the case against

“Now that people are able to see it up close, they are reporting pure VANDALISM at The Reflecting Pool. Thank you Andrew Leyden for your observation!” he wrote, continuing: “The material was cut right where the video tape showed, for 300 feet or more. People were on their knees with their hands in the water at the exact location of the ‘slashes.’ Additionally, there were witnesses to the VANDALISM, and the flexible areas of the material were cut with a knife.”

The president then directly called on Pirro to reverse course and trashed Hearn’s defense lawyer Norm Eisen as a “Political Hack” and “TRUMP DERANGED SLEAZEBAG.”

He wrote: “U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro should re-visit her hastily made decision, especially since it turned out that the “gentleman” involved is a big player in ActBlue, a disgraceful fundraising SCAM, and is represented by a TRUMP DERANGED SLEAZEBAG, Political Hack Lawyer, Norm Eisen, and CREW, a group that uses “charity” for political purposes which is, to the best of my knowledge, ILLEGAL!”

“I have been beating Eisen, a complete LUNATIC, in Court for 10 years, or more. He just keeps coming, but I always WIN!” he added.

Trump had already blasted Pirro’s decision, saying she had “folded like an umbrella” and later telling NBC News that she had made a “terrible mistake” in her conclusion.

Asked whether he was considering replacing her, Trump replied: “I think she made a terrible decision. That doesn’t mean change.”

Hearn, who had pleaded not guilty to a felony property destruction charge, has maintained he did nothing wrong.
