Trump Threatens ‘Regime Change’ in Iran With Shocking Social Post: ‘MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN’

Despite assurances from his administration that the U.S. is not trying to overthrow the Iranian regime, President Donald Trump has just issued a stunning statement to the contrary.
In a shocking Truth Social post Sunday afternoon, the president floated the possibility that the U.S. may seek to topple the Iranian regime.
“It’s not politically correct to use the term, ‘Regime Change,’ but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a Regime change???” Trump said — before adding “MIGA!!!”
The Sunday afternoon Truth Social post directly contradicts a comment made Sunday morning by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth — who told reporters at a news conference that the U.S. mission in Iran “has not been about regime change.”
Vice President JD Vance expressed a similar sentiment Sunday morning on NBC’s Meet the Press.
“Our view has been very clear that we don’t want a regime change … We want to end their nuclear program, and then we want to talk to the Iranians about a long-term settlement,” Vance said.
While this is the first indication Trump may be seeking regime change in Iran, Trump did claim — in a Truth Social post on Tuesday — that the U.S. knows where Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is hiding.
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding,” Trump wrote. “He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.”
This story is breaking.
