Charlie Kirk Pleads With Trump to Deal With Epstein Files: ‘Truly Because We Care About You’

Charlie Kirk pleaded with President Donald Trump to change up his strategy on dealing with the Epstein Files fallout, warning him that hundreds of thousands of his supporters are not happy.

On The Charlie Kirk Show, Kirk revealed he’s received “hundreds of thousands” of comments from “unhappy” supporters of the president over Epstein. Trump has taken to dismissing the Epstein Files as a hoax, attacking his own supporters for getting “duped.”

Kirk said he plans on giving Trump a message the next time he speaks to him.

“Mr. President, the emphasis on abstain is truly the best intentions of your most loyal followers where we’re not trying to score points with the CNNs of The New York Times, it’s truly because we care about you. It’s because we want what’s best for the presidency,” he said.

The late Jeffrey Epstein died of an apparent suicide in 2019 while being charged with sex trafficking. While there has been much talk, including from Trump officials, of an “Epstein list” of high profile clients who took part in Epstein’s alleged abuse over the years, a recent Department of Justice/FBI memo denied such a list exists. Attorney General Pam Bondi directly referenced a list in February and some MAGA influencers have been calling for to step down.

Kirk called himself a “messenger” for the MAGA crowd and they want Trump to keep to his promise to “dismantle the deep state.” Kirk made clear he does not believe Trump, a former friend of Epstein, is guilty of anything related to Epstein.

“We are messengers here. We are relaying what we are hearing from your most loyal ultra MAGA supporters all the time. And it’s not that people are saying they want to learn about Epstein because they have any suspicion of President Trump. No, we don’t think, no one thinks you’re involved in any way of that stuff whatsoever. But the way that you taught us is that we need to go after the rogue intel agencies to lance the boil that has been festering in this country for decades,” he said.

Kirk warned Trump that its young male voters who are most upset with the handling of Epstein.

“Gen Z is really fired up about this, especially young men. I mean, we’re getting flooded with thousands, hundreds of thousands of comments that are very unhappy about this. And I think they’re unhappy about it because they want and they voted for President Trump on a government — they want to have a mandate where they assail the deep state. And we all agree,” he said. “We all agree. Gen Z is going off right now on this and that’s no breaking news. President Trump was elected primarily to go after the deep state. We want to go up to the deep state. A lot of this is largely just a misunderstanding.”

Kirk’s comments follows him declaring earlier this week that he was “done talking about Jeffrey Epstein” after reportedly speaking with Trump by phone.

“Plenty was said this last weekend at our event about Epstein. Honestly, I’m done talking about Epstein for the time being. I’m gonna trust my friends in the administration, I’m gonna trust my friends in the government to do what needs to be done, solve it, ball’s in their hands,” he said.

Kirk’s organization Turning Point USA held a summit in Florida over the weekend where multiple speakers, including Megyn Kelly who earned plenty of cheers as she slammed Bondi, hammered the administration’s handling of Epstein.
