George Santos Shocks Tucker Carlson by Revealing Prison Is Full of Trump-Hating Liberals

George Santos shocked Tucker Carlson by revealing his time in prison was filled with “lots of liberals” who hate President Donald Trump.

Santos joined Carlson on The Tucker Carlson Show following Trump commuting Santos’s prison sentence after serving 84 days of a seven year sentence.

Santos detailed his time in prison to Carlson. The former Republican congressman also spoke to Carlson just days before surrendering to authorities and said he feared for his life at the time.

Santos was sentenced to 87 months in prison after being convicted of wire fraud and aggravated identify theft. According to the Department of Justice, Santos filed fraudulent FEC reports, embezzled money from campaign donors, and more. Santos was also expelled from the House amid allegations of fraud and lying numerous times about his personal history. He’s only the sixth person to ever be expelled.

Carlson asked Santos about how he got along with fellow inmates, and Santos called them “extras” in his journey and revealed many leaned left.

“I couldn’t find a lot of similarities with a lot of them, I think. There was a group of like five or six that I could talk to, but these are well-educated individuals, very savvy, but at the same time very liberal,” Santos said.

“Very liberal?” a surprised Carlson asked.

Carlson was again shocked when Santos declared there are “lots of liberals” in prison.

“Oh my God, lots of liberals in prison. You’d be shocked. You’d be shocked at the amount of people who hate the president in prison. But then the moment, which is funny, the moment I got commuted, everybody was going, ‘oh, Trump’s the man! Yo, buddy, take care of me, call my wife,'” Santos said.

“I know a lot of people who have been to prison and they all get more right wing in prison,” Carlson said.

Santos later revealed he found out the news about Trump commuting his sentence through MSNBC because one of the TVs was always on the network.

“That’s where the audience is. Because I wondered that, who watches? So it’s prison inmates,” Carlson joked.

Check out the exchange below:

GEORGE SANTOS: Inmates were for me, I call them extras in my journey. There was like maybe two or three —

TUCKER CARLSON: Did you let them know?

SANTOS: Kind of.

CARLSON: They had non-speaking parts in this film?

SANTOS: They had totally non-speaking parts in the film because, look, it’s — I couldn’t find a lot of similarities with a lot of them, I think. There was a group of like five or six that I could talk to, but these are well-educated individuals, very savvy, but at the same time very liberal.

CARLSON: Very liberal?

SANTOS: There are lots of liberals in prison.

CARLSON: What?!

SANTOS: Oh my God, lots of liberals in prison. You’d be shocked. You’d be shocked at the amount of people who hate the president in prison. But then the moment, which is funny, the moment I got commuted, everybody was going, “oh, Trump’s the man! Yo, buddy, take care of me, call my wife.” I left with a stack of phone numbers of wives that I’ve never called.

CARLSON: I know a lot of people who have been to prison and they all get more right wing in prison.

SANTOS: Well, maybe these [people] were still not getting red-pilled yet.
