‘Just Go Back and Sell Some Pillows’: Stunned Steve Bannon Responds To Mike Lindell’s Potential Run for Governor

MyPillow founder and vocal election conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell left Steve Bannon stunned with news that he’s considering a run for governor of Minnesota.
On Tuesday’s WarRoom podcast, Bannon was shocked when Lindell ended his interview by saying he’s weighing a challenge to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D).
“What? Hold on, that’s a scoop. You’re considering doing what?” Bannon asked.
“Running for governor of Minnesota against Tim Walz!” Lindell declared.
Lindell has mentioned running for governor in the past. The MyPillow founder has been at the center of 2020 election conspiracy theories, even producing a documentary at one point about the election. However, there has been no proof of the widespread fraud he’s repeatedly referenced. He’s faced a number of court cases since 2020 over his election claims.

STEVE BANNON: Why is the attorney general of the state of Minnesota trying to shut down your network of — to make sure that people who get away from addiction, drug addiction, sex addiction, all the addictions based on Christian principles? Why is he targeting you, sir?
MIKE LINDELL: I would call him a radical Muslim. He hates — I believe he hates our country. You know, you have Ilhan Omar there too and I believe attacks on me, they don’t want people getting off addiction and becoming Christians or giving their lives to Jesus Christ. He could also be upset that I’m considering running for governor of Minnesota.
BANNON: What? Hold on, that’s a scoop. You’re considering doing what?
LINDELL: Running for governor of Minnesota against Tim Walz!
BANNON: Am I breaking news here? There’s too much news we’re breaking today. Is this true? Michael Lindell’s thinking of running for governor?
LINDELL: Absolutely.
