WATCH: NFL RedZone Evacuated During Live Broadcast As Emergency Alarm Blares – NFL Gives Update

The Inglewood, California offices of NFL RedZone were evacuated during a live broadcast on Sunday due to an emergency alarm that could be heard over the broadcasters.

While covering the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday, NFL RedZone host Scott Hanson announced that the offices were being evacuated.

“Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is a first in my 20-something year broadcasting career,” said Hanson. “We have an alarm going off in the studios of NFL RedZone right now, in our studios here in Inglewood, California. We are being told we need to evacuate the building. We do not know the nature of the emergency.”

“You can probably hear the alarm going right over the top of my right shoulder here,” he said as the alarm loudly blared into the microphone.

Hanson carried on with the show, though, despite the alarm and the “please leave the building” message that could be heard in the studio.

Hanson gave an update on X (formerly Twitter) after the all clear. “well, that was… interesting,” he said.

He also share some of the memes that were already floating around about the moment and his stick-to-itiveness.

The return of hosts to the NFL Network was likewise marked with some humor.

Eventually, NFL Media tweeted that it was a “false alarm” and said that “no business functions” were interrupted.”
