‘Blew It At Every Turn!’ Bill Maher Trashes Trump Prosecutors Over Stormy Daniels Hush Money Testimony

Comic and pundit Bill Maher roasted the New York prosecution against former President Donald Trump for using Stormy Daniels as a witness.

Trump faces criminal charges for allegedly falsifying business documents regarding hush money payments during the 2016 election season. Maher appeared frustrated on Friday night’s Real Time over the delays to Trump’s other criminal trials in Georgia and Florida.

“I mean, the Democrats have had four years to put Trump on trial and it is all just going away,” Maher said. “They blew it at every turn!”

He added, “They’re going to take up Trump’s argument about Fani Willis. And if she’s the prosecutor, she’s having an affair with the guy she hired. I mean, it’s not really relevant to the case, but they left an opening, and now that one’s going to be delayed. The stolen documents, one that’s never going to happen because that’s a Trump judge down there. So it’s stormy or bust.”

Maher then launched into an attack on Manhattan District Attorn Alvin Bragg’s prosecution calling Daniels as a witness, first playing a clip of an interview she gave on his show in 2018 discussing the alleged affair with Trump.

At the time, Daniels told Maher her affair with Trump was “not a #MeToo case,” adding “I wasn’t attacked, or raped, or coerced or blackmailed.”

After the clip, the Real Time host then pointed out “That’s not what she’s saying now.”

“She’s talking about ‘he was bigger and blocking the way.’ It’s all the Me Too buzzwords. She said, ‘There was an imbalance of power for sure.’ ‘My hands were shaking so hard.’ She said she blacked out. Blacked out? She’s a porn star!” Maher ranted. “Do you really think she blacked out? A porn star is used to having sex with people she doesn’t know…”

“I just think she’s not a good witness,” Maher concluded.
