‘Clear Signs of Starvation’: Fox’s Yingst Reports On Second Hamas Video of Israeli Hostages In Two Days

Hamas has released footage of Israeli hostage Evyatar David held in a tunnel showing “clear signs of starvation,” according to Fox’s chief foreign correspondent, Trey Yingst.
David, who was kidnapped on October 7th from the Nova Music Festival, is pictured with bones protruding in a confined, dark tunnel. He’s been held in such conditions for 665 days, according to Yingst.
Along with footage of David, the video released by Hamas includes images of emaciated Palestinian children along with the captions, in English, Arabic, and Hebrew, “The occupation government has decided to starve them,” and “They eat what we eat.”
According to current U.N. estimations, one in three Gazans is now going for days at a time without food, with hospitals treating “20,000 children for acute malnutrition since April.”
This is the second video of an Israeli hostage published in recent days, with the Islamic Jihad releasing harrowing footage of hostage Rom Braslavski yesterday. His family has since responded in a statement, saying, “They managed to break Rom.”
David’s family has yet to approve the video’s publication to the public, and his sister has spoken out critically against those sharing it. “Those who have seen it now understand how serious it is,” she is quoted as saying.
Forty-nine hostages kidnapped on October 7th are still held captive in Gaza, with at least twenty thought to be alive.
