Fox News’ Ingraham Boots Guest After He Mocks Her Over Ad Boycott: ‘High School Kids Shut You Down’

Things got really awkward for Laura Ingraham on Wednesday night when one of her guests kept taking shots at her for losing advertisers after she mocked an anti-gun student activist who survived the Parkland school shooting.

Enrique Morones, founder of the Border Angels human rights organization, appeared opposite Republican gubernatorial candidate John Cox for a debate on California’s sanctuary laws. Ingraham asked Morones about Governor Jerry Brown‘s resistance to having the National Guard help build President Trump‘s Mexican border wall, but Morones started things off by snarking “I’m glad David Hogg let you back on the air.”

After Morones eventually addressed Ingraham’s question about immigration and sanctuary states, she responded “you might not be aware of the concept called facts,” which prompted him to retort “I’m all about facts, but you’re on Fox News, so you’re not about facts.” Ingraham accused him of wasting the panel’s time though Morones responded “you’re the one who called me six times to come on!”

The two continued to tussle until Ingraham handed things over to Cox, who argued that most people in California are tired of the state’s sanctuary laws. When Morones dismissively reacted to Cox, Ingraham started scolding him again for being “rude and nasty” throughout the discussion. That’s when Morones sucker-punched her.

“Where’s your sponsors? David Hogg got rid of half of them. High school kids shut you down.”

After that, Ingraham removed him from the show and bemoaned the leftist display of demonizing one’s political opponents.

Ingraham recently lost more than 20 of her show’s sponsors after she mocked Hogg for not getting accepted into some of the colleges he applied to. Ingraham took a pre-planned vacation shortly after her jab and she eventually apologized as the boycott against her started to take its toll.

Fox News has declared that they will continue to support Ingraham, and when she returned to her show last week, she went tore into the “Stalinist” liberals trying to censor conservative opinions. Since, a number of advertisers have returned to her show.
