Fox’s Megyn Kelly Has A Problem With ‘Coronal Mass Ejection’

 

Sometimes being a news anchor is hard. I mean, you have to say a lot of tough stuff on live television. Seriously. You try to pronounce the names of random Middle Eastern dictators knowing that millions of people are watching you. And, in addition to mass-murderers’ multi-syllabic monickers, there’s also science stuff to worry about. Take for example Megyn Kelly’s struggle today with the term “Coronal Mass Ejection,” which is a burst of charged particles and magnetic fields. Unlike us bloggers, Kelly can’t just copy and paste the darn thing, so she had to say it out loud.

As she explained to Trace Gallagher, there was something about saying it that made her feel…weird.
