Insane Video Shows Stolen Car Speeding Through Crowded Park
A teenager took his grandfather’s car on a high-speed joyride through Syracuse, Utah — a chase that included a dangerous stretch through a park crowded with children — before a quick-thinking parent finally stopped his rampage.
The driver, only fourteen, heard the APB for himself by using a police scanner app on his phone; one witness estimated about fifteen children were playing when the car came speeding through at up to 60 miles an hour. Police called off the chase when the teen drove through the park, fearful of injuring bystanders.
The melee finally ended when one of the parents hopped into his monstrous pick up and used it as a battering ram. The teen was arrested.
