John McCain Shoos ‘Angry,’ ‘Rude’ Man From Explosive Town Hall
On Tuesday afternoon, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) shooed a man from a town hall after he loudly berated the senator over American military aid to Syrian rebels.
Video of the event shows the unidentified man, wearing shorts, pointing his finger at the senator and accusing the him and the administration of effectively aiding al-Qaeda by providing arms to rebel groups in Syria. According to reports, McCain repeatedly attempted to calm the man down and ask him if he was finished speaking.
“I’ve been to Syria,” McCain reportedly countered. “Americans have not supplied many weapons at all.”
But when the Arizona resident continued to berate the seantor, McCain reportedly called him “rude” and shooed him away with a wave of the arm. The man left the town hall in advance of getting escorted out, as the town hall had reportedly become loud and “overheated.”
