Megyn Kelly Rips Democrats For Handling of Kavanaugh Accuser: ‘They Outed Her!’
Today host Megyn Kelly ripped Senate Democrats for outing Christine Blasey Ford after she came to them regarding her misconduct allegations against Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
“I think [Sen.] Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) bears a lot of the blame here because this woman found a way to come forward,” Kelly said on NBC today. “And Dianne Feinstein buried it.”
The host added that “first and foremost,” women need to feel like “they have a place to go” and a “process” to report these allegations to.
Kelly went on to question why Democrat Senator Diane Feinstein didn’t approach the SCOTUS nominee with the allegations when they met.
“Why wouldn’t Dianne Feinstein say, at least anonymously, to Brett Kavanaugh when she met with him one-on-one and say, ‘I received a serious allegation, I need to raise it with you,'” she said.
Kelly continued slamming Democrats, saying they “leaked” her name and “outed her.”
As for her opinion on Ford, Kelly appeared on MSNBC last night and said the accuser needs “to show up on Monday and offer her testimony if she wants to be heard because for better or for worse, she is not in charge of this.” ‘
“The Senate is in charge of this. That committee is in charge of this and their obligation is to provide advice and consent to the president on his judicial nominee,” she added. “So they get to decide what will inform that decision.”
