POTUS Makes Fiery Statement to Critics: ‘There Has Been Nobody Tougher on Russia Than President Donald Trump’

President Donald Trump has never been one to back down on the superlatives.

So it was at a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, in which Trump couldn’t stop himself from answering just one more question after he’d wrapped up and was posing for pictures.

Though the question was inaudible, the answer was loud and clear as Trump stepped back to the podium: “There has been nobody tougher on Russia than President Donald Trump,” he declared.

Between building up the military, between creating tremendous, vast amounts of oil, we raised billions and billions of dollars extra in NATO. We had a severe fight in Syria recently a month ago. Between our troops and Russian troops. It’s very sad. Many people died in that fight.”

“If we can get along with China and if we can get along with Russia, and if we can get along with Japan and other nations, that’s a good thing, not a bad thing,” he concluded. “Just remember that. If we got along with other nations, that’s good, not bad.”
