Sandra Bland Booking Video Released by Texas Officials

Waller County, Texas officials released booking video of Sandra Bland in jail today and walked through it at a press conference.

Bland was found dead in her cell three days after she was arrested during a confrontation with a police officer, and there have been lots of questions raised about what happened to her.

The official autopsy on Bland pointed to suicide, despite suspicions she was killed, and county officials said they released the booking video today to push back against threats they’ve received over one theory that Bland was dead before she got to the jail and in her mugshot.
