‘This is Not a Black Thing! This is a YOU Thing!’ Eric Adams Gets Shouted Down By Protesters in WILD Post-Indictment Presser

New York Mayor Eric Adams was shouted down by protesters when he arrived to deliver a press conference outside his home at Gracie Mansion as he reacted to the indictment against him unsealed on Thursday.

Adams faces federal charges related to soliciting and accepting illegal campaign contributions. Prosecutors charged Adams with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, bribery, and two counts of soliciting contributions from foreign nationals.

These charges arise from an investigation into Adams’ 2021 mayoral campaign and his connections with Turkish government officials.

As he stepped out to speak to the press, however, a heckler with armed with a megaphone unleashed on him in protest.

This is not a black thing, this is a you thing!” The heckler said. “This is a you thing, Adams. This is not a good thing. You are a disgrace to all black people in this city. The things that you have done are unconscionable. You hurt our school. Our streets are dirty. Our children are harassed by the police. This is ridiculous!

Adams uncomfortably waited to speak, smiling at the journalists gathered before the protester was ushered away.

The mayor said during a press conference that he wasn’t surprised by the indictment, telling reporters that he “expected this” but urged “everyone to wait and hear [his] side of the story as well.”

Adams emphasized that he would continue to focus on his duties as mayor.

As the mayor closed his presser, more protestors chanted “resign” as he walked away from the podium.
