Three Time Trump Voter Trashes President’s ‘Bullsh*t’ on MS NOW: ‘I’m Just Over It’
MS NOW caught up with a voter who backed President Donald Trump — and is now done with his “bullsh*t,” declaring he’s off the MAGA ‘”wagon.”
Lawrence O’Donnell aired the footage from the Iowa State Fair on Tuesday’s The Last Word. Reporter Alex Tabet spoke with three-time Trump voter Shane Foot and others while covering the fair.
“President Trump promised to bring down prices. You voted for him three times. Are you disappointed?” Tabet asked.
“Very disappointed. Very disappointed,” Foot said.
Foot said he’s been disappointed to see prices staying stubbornly high amid the Iran war and a fresh trade war with Canada.
“Because the prices haven’t gone down…I don’t know, I don’t know, I just I’m over it, I think I’m over the Trump thing, the Trump wagon, whatever you want to call it,” Foot said.
Tabet then asked for a direct message Foot would give Trump if he had the opportunity to speak with him about his issues.
“If you could talk directly to the president about the war, about the prices, about the economy, what would you tell him?” Tabet asked.
Foot told the president to “stop the bullsh*t” and stick to his campaign promise of making America “great again.”
“Stop the bullsh*t,” Foot said. “Make America great, like you said. That’s what I’d say.”
Trump has faced cratering poll numbers in recent weeks. A Reuters/Ipsos survey conducted this month found just 13% “strongly” approve of the president’s performance, while 35% of Republicans strongly approve.
A Fox News poll also found Trump’s net favorability on the economy has fallen from 29 points positive in July 2018 to underwater by 26 points in July of this year. CNN data also showed his net favorability on inflation has dropped from a positive 22 points in March, 2025 to minus-38 points now, marking a whopping 60 point drop.
