Trump Scolds CNN Journalist and Refuses To Answer Her Question: ‘This Is One of the Worst Reporters That You’ll Ever See’

President Donald Trump brutally scolded a CNN reporter on Wednesday, telling those assembled at the White House that she is “one of the worst reporters that you’ll ever see.”

The president took questions from reporters in the State Dining Room, where he held an “Antifa roundtable.” Trump has baselessly claimed that Antifa, a catchall term for far-left activists, is responsible for civil unrest in the nation’s cities, which the president has either drastically overstated or outright fabricated.

At one point, CNN Senior White House Correspondent Kristen Holmes asked about a potential ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. Her question was difficult to make out in its entirety, but she could be heard asking Trump, “Are you personally participating?”

Trump had no interest in answering the question.

“This is CNN speaking, by the way,” he told the people in the room. “So, you know, this is one of the worst reporters that you’ll ever see. I don’t even want to take her question. It’s a waste of time.”

The president moved on to the next reporter.

Elsewhere during the meeting, Trump said he may visit the Middle East “sometime before the end of the week” to try to facilitate a ceasefire deal.

“Nothing like that’s happened before,” he said. “And our final negotiation, as you know, is with Hamas. And it seems to be going well, so we’ll let you know if that’s the case.”
