Watch Jacqueline Bisset’s Train Wreck of a Golden Globes Acceptance Speech
Within the first 10 minutes of the 2014 Golden Globes, we got our first train wreck of an acceptance speech.
Jacqueline Bisset‘s performance in Dancing on the Edge won her the Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or TV Movie. While she’s not your first candidate for shit-show acceptance speech, boy did she take the cake early in the program.
Bisset not only took forever to get up to the podium, but upon arriving, she stopped and started her speech multiple times, giving new meaning to the phrase “meaningful pause.” It became clear that this was a mess when she began to ramble on about several other colleagues as the producers attempted to play her off stage with music cues not once, but twice.
