The American band Eagles of Death Metal performed at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris when terrorists attacked earlier today, and a post on their Facebook page says they’re trying to account for the safety of the band’s members.
The rock band––formed in 1998––has been touring through Europe and, according to the group’s Facebook page, they were going to be performing in Belgium, Geramny, and Switzerland over the next week.
They recently released their fourth album Zipper Down featuring their single “Complexity.”
The current members of the band are Jesse “Boots Electric” Hughes, Joshua “Baby Duck” Homme, Dave Catching, Matt McJunkins, Julian Dorio, and Eden Galindo.
The band’s Facebook page posted this message following the attack:
We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation.
The members of the band are reportedly safe, according to Dorio’s mother.
UPDATE –– 10:29 pm EST: It’s being reported that none of the band members were killed.
