David Duke’s Account Is Seemingly Banned From Twitter, Then Reinstated
Today, the Southern Poverty Law Center and Forward both reported that former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke had been given the Milo Yiannopoulos treatment by Twitter. That is to say, he was banned.

When we went to check it out, we saw that his account was operational, though it currently shows only 45 followers. Clicking on that number reveals the thousands of accounts that were previously following the big-time Donald Trump supporter, so obviously that is a glitch. It is similar to others seen when an account is deleted and reinstated.
Forward reported that Duke responded to his suspension by saying, “We are really at war. Trump is at war. They’re trying to make [Trump] go to jail and die in jail… They’re going to war against me, too.”
When responding to questions about why his account was done away with in the first place, he said that he exposed Israel as an ethno-state. That publication found a number of tweets from Duke’s supporters blaming Jews for his ouster.
We have reached out to Twitter for comment and will update if we hear back.
