Donald Trump Calls Lawrence O’Donnell A ‘Total Loser Who Is Killing The MSNBC Brand’

Donald Trump launched a Twitter offensive on Tuesday, excoriating MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell. “Last year @Lawrence strongly predicted that @TimPawlenty would be the Republican nominee–@Lawrence is a total loser who is killing the MSNBC brand,” Trump sniped. “He is begging me to be on his show. I am his only hope–@oreillyfactor killed him.”

O’Donnell hit right back at the real estate magnate and reality TV host. “What else did I predict? Something about u? Like the exact day u would reveal that u were not running. That was so easy.”

“I assume you’re still afraid of coming on my show,” O’Donnell added. “Don’t worry, we will light your hair any way you want. Politeness (to the hosts) prevents me from naming lower rated shows than mine you’ve appeared on.”

“There is no such thing,” return-volleyed Trump. “They can’t get much lower than yours.”

“It’s sad with only 57,000 followers on Twitter that you are topping your broadcast.”

Earlier this year, O’Donnell reported scathingly on Trump’s aborted run for the Republican nomination, calling The Apprentice host “a very dangerous man who must be stopped” and “NBC’s greatest individual embarrassment.”
