‘He Has a Knife!’ Nick Shirley Attacked and Chased in New Video on Spain’s Migrant Crisis

Right-leaning independent journalist Nick Shirley was chased by a knife-wielding maniac who was enraged he traveled to the Spanish province of Ceuta to report on the surge of tens of thousands of migrants from North Africa.

“He has a knife!” Shirley yelled to one of his pals as he blitzed down the street.

The crazed man was shouting “I’m going to stab both of you” as he hunted them down, according to the translation in Shirley’s video report posted on Monday. It’s unclear who the man was, but he appeared to be an angry local, not one of the 60,000 migrants who poured into Ceuta from Morocco last week.

A moment earlier, the man was chucking rocks and bottles and insisting Shirley “cut the camera!” The violent outburst sent Shirley and his friend racing away, but the man in an orange t-shirt pursued them further. It was difficult to see the knife Shirley was talking about in the video, which he recorded as he raced away.

The video then cut to Shirley getting out of a Spanish cop car.

“We finished with a knife chase down the hill and then got escorted back up to our car from the Spanish police,” Shirley explained.

Earlier in the video, Shirley spoke to several teenagers and young Moroccan men who had entered last week.

“Viva Espana!” many of them yelped, while others saluted Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

Shirley also toured one of the migrant centers were a grip of the men were being held.

“They’re showering out of these buckets, it’s actually really sad to see this,” Shirley said as he examined the facility.

Right around the time Shirley’s video posted, President Donald Trump was asked about the migrants flooding into Spain. Trump said his first thought was he had inherited an even bigger illegal immigration mess from ex-President Joe Biden.
