Elon Musk Thinks ‘Competition for AI Superiority’ Is ‘Most Likely’ Cause of World War III

Elon Musk went ahead today and just shared his thoughts on Twitter regarding what he thinks the most likely cause of World War III will be.
As one does.
The Verge reported on comments by Vladimir Putin about artificial intelligence, of all things.
Putin apparently said, “Artificial intelligence is the future, not only for Russia, but for all humankind. It comes with colossal opportunities, but also threats that are difficult to predict. Whoever becomes the leader in this sphere will become the ruler of the world.”
