Eric Bolling Roasts Study Claiming ‘Race Gap’ in Air Pollution: ‘It’s Junk Science’

BlazeTV host Eric Bolling ripped into a recent study claiming “pollution is disproportionately caused by whites, but disproportionately inhaled by black and Hispanic minorities.” The study was recently reported on by USA Today.

“Even though minorities are contributing less to the overall problem of air pollution, they are affected by it more,” said study co-author Jason Hill, an engineering professor at the University of Minnesota, who is white, USA Today noted.  “Is it fair (that) I create more pollution and somebody else is disproportionately affected by it?”

The study said minorities are bearing the “pollution burden” since African-Americans “are exposed to about 56 percent more pollution than is caused by their consumption. For Hispanics, it is slightly higher – 63 percent.”

“I swear to God, I thought it was a hoax article, fake news, but alas it wasn’t fake. It’s the most ridiculous, partisan hackery of a wildly partisan time in American political life,” Bolling said.

He said it’s common sense minorities breathe worse quality air since they tend to live in cities, where there’s more pollution, as opposed to whites who tend to live in suburban and rural areas.

“Truth be told, Democrats run the most polluted cities in America,” he continued. “Wouldn’t the National Academy of Sciences be more accurate in their breakthrough study by concluding Democrats are air racists? Look, it’s junk science. Junk science begets junk conclusions. Junk conclusions beget junk political hackery.”
