Ex-DNC Chair Howard Dean Announces He’s Running for the Position Again
Howard Dean chaired the DNC from 2005 to 2009, and he led the Democratic Party to victory in the White House and in both houses of Congress.
And now that the GOP has managed to accomplish the trifecta, there’s clearly a lot that the Democrats need to reevaluate. (Today’s tensions at a DNC meeting are proof of that.)
So Dean is stepping up and running again:
The dems need organization and focus on the young. Need a fifty State strategy and tech rehab. I am in for chairman again.
— Howard Dean (@GovHowardDean) November 10, 2016
The only other major voice so far stepping up is Congressman Keith Ellison.
