Here’s Proof That Retiring Broadcast Legend Vin Scully Can Even Make a Grocery List Sound Majestic
After 67 years in the Dodgers broadcast booth, legendary announcer Vin Scully concludes his remarkable career this weekend in San Francisco.

Fast-forward to the 1:12 mark of this clip below to hear the dulcet tones of the great Vin Scully reading through the weekly grocery list.
The highlight, undoubtedly, is Scully’s pronunciation of “bologna.” But the whole thing is oddly compelling.
Indeed, Vin Scully will be missed.
