‘I’m Getting As and A+s on Foreign Policy’: Trump Grades His Presidency
A new interview with Donald Trump hit Time today and as the public scrambles to unpack every statement, a few stand out. Notably, Trump graded his own presidency.
Unsurprisingly, the man who says he has “the best” of just about everything and once bragged about his penis size during a debate has given himself As.
When asked about the handling of foreign policy thus far into his presidency, Trump said this:
You know what’s interesting, I’m getting very good marks in foreign policy. People would not think of me in that light. I’m just saying, and you read the same things I read. I’m getting As and A+s on foreign policy. And nobody thought about it.
From surprise missiles to “beautiful” chocolate cake, Trump’s decisions when it comes to relationships with foreign countries have been interesting and at times shocking. According to him, that’s an A+.
