‘Insane!’ MAGA Explodes After El-Sayed Asks Fox’s Jesse Watters If He’s Circumcised During Trans Care Question

MAGA pundits seized on Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed’s bizarre Monday night hit on Fox News after he asked host Jesse Watters whether he was circumcized in response to rapid-fire questioning about gender-transition surgeries for minors.

The deeply personal question immediately lit up conservative media and social media, becoming the standout moment from an otherwise wide-ranging and frequently combative interview on Jesse Watters Primetime.

El-Sayed, a progressive Democrat and former public health official, had appeared on Fox News for what he initially described as a “wholesome conversation” about his campaign to represent Michigan in the Senate.

Instead, the nearly 30-minute encounter repeatedly descended into cross-talk as the pair battled over immigration enforcement, taxes, the Iran war and other issues before Watters turned the discussion to medical care for transgender minors.

“Sex change for minors. Do you support that?” Watters asked at one point.

“I just think the government shouldn’t tell you what kind of healthcare you should have,” El-Sayed replied.

Watters then pressed him with a more graphic formulation: “So you think it’s OK for a parent to slash his kid’s ding-a-ling off?”

El-Sayed fired back: “Do you really want to have this conversation? Are you circumcized?”

“Yeah, but I mean that’s a personal question, doctor,” a visibly surprised Watters responded.

Watters argued that circumcision is “different than castration,” prompting El-Sayed to reply: “I’m just saying that yes, circumcision is surgery on a kid’s ding-a-ling.”

The moment, however, swiftly drew outrage from prominent MAGA voices and conservative commentators, who seized on El-Sayed’s question and his comparison between circumcision and gender-affirming procedures.

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said the comparison made El-Sayed “look like an absolute insane person”:

Watters himself branded El-Sayed’s argument “wacky” during the interview, telling him: “Abdul, Michigan’s not going for that. That is sick stuff.”

Despite the fireworks, the interview ended on a less hostile note, with Watters acknowledging El-Sayed for appearing on the conservative network.

“I respect the fact that you came on. I don’t think you’ve really looked into some of the policies you’re pushing. You seem a little naive, Abdul. I give you credit for facing the music, but some of the stuff’s just straight up wacky. I don’t know if that’s going to fly in Michigan, but we’re going to find out.”

El-Sayed is facing Republican nominee Mike Rogers, a former Michigan congressman, Army veteran, and FBI agent, in the race for the Senate seat.
