‘He Can Go To Hell!’ Rudy Giuliani Says He’s Suing Tucker Carlson in Wild Rant Trashing Podcaster’s Interview With Hunter Biden

Rudy Giuliani announced he is suing Tucker Carlson, claiming in a rant that Carlson defamed him during a recent interview with Hunter Biden.

Giuliani revealed his lawsuit plans during a Newsmax appearance on Sunday when he was asked about a clip of Hunter Biden on Bill Maher’s Real Time show in which he discussed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his influence on President Donald Trump.

Giuliani quickly pivoted from those specific points to Carlson’s interview with Hunter Biden. He claimed both men defamed him when they talked about how exactly contents from an allegedly abandoned laptop owned by Biden leaked in 2020. The New York Post first published content from the hard drive, which included Biden engaging in drug use and other illicit behavior. The Post received the material from Giuliani, who became a central figure in the controversy.

The former New York City mayor said:

He personally defamed me, Hunter Biden did. And so did Tucker and I’m seriously considering suing him. During the course of his interview, in which Tucker virtually had Hunter on his lap, feeding him a bottle, he asked him about, you know — it didn’t come from the Russians. Remember that’s been disproven. Remember that was their original charge for two years. For 17 months, President Trump and I were charged by Biden in a debate with being Russian agents. The New York Times finally retracted it 17 months later in an article. I think it was written in Chinese in the English addition, it was about this big, but they did.

Now he’s saying, Hunter is, that Bibi Netanyahu set it up and at the conclusion of his saying that — Hunter, either he’s the lapdog or Tucker is — Tucker said, “I agree.” In other words, he agrees that I was and Trump was an agent for Bibi. He can go to hell! I wasn’t an agent for anybody but myself and the United States of America and the man I was representing. That’s been proven 40 times over. I’m gonna sue him! I don’t know what has happened to Tucker Carlson, but if he’s not working for somebody else, he’s doing a good imitation of it.

Asked if he’s going to follow through with filing his lawsuit, Giuliani said, “Absolutely.”

The former lawyer to Trump was referring to revised coverage from the Times when referencing a retraction. The Times revised reporting on the Post’s Biden coverage to show that the material was not “unsubstantiated.”

Giuliani appeared to be referencing a section in Carlson and Biden’s interview in which Carlson mostly discussed Israel’s possible role in the Biden laptop story.

Carlson at one point claimed that people with ties to the Israeli government came to him when he was hosting for Fox News and pushed the claim that there was abusive material involving minors on Biden’s hard drive. Carlson said this after Biden actually alleged Giuliani defamed him for pushing the same false “narrative.”

“I mean, an absolute and complete, utter effing lie. And that’s what he did. Because you know what it didn’t have on it? It had no evidence and they had it for over a year at this point. They had no evidence of anything other than I was a drug user,” Biden said.

“That came from the Israelis. They came to me with that,” Carlson claimed.

Both men were vocally critical of Israel and the country’s strikes in Gaza and its role in American politics during their interview. Biden at one point called Netanyahu “evil incarnate.”

“If it is antisemitic to say that [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu is evil incarnate, then you know what? I don’t know what to tell people anymore,” he said. “All you have to do is open your eyes. Literally, open your eyes, open your heart for one second and understand.”
