With Hurricane Harvey bringing unprecedented flooding to Houston and other areas of southeast Texas, we have seen many dramatic and amazing images. And, just like other recent major natural disasters, we’ve already been inundated with fake photos purporting to be from this storm.
If you’ve been on Twitter, you’ve likely already seen this hoax:

And, yes, it is a fake:

Well, it looks like Fox News’ Jesse Watters also saw this image at some point, and he wanted Fox viewers to know all about it.
During Monday night’s broadcast of The Five, Watters was talking about Harvey and all the amazing images and video he’d seen from the scene. And, of course, that included a highway shark.
“I’ve seen some amazing things out there just looking at television,” Watters exclaimed. “Alligators on people’s back door steps. I saw a shark on a highway swimming in the water.”
After co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle mentioned that it was like Sharknado, Watters repeated her line. “Like Sharknado,” he said.
The Watters World host continued, “There’s some really weird biblical things that are going on down there in Houston. I can’t imagine how I would be experiencing that as a guy from the northeast but I think Texas has it figured out.”
Again, there was no highway shark.
